What's a good birthday party idea for a lot of people?

i want to invite like 35 people to my b-day party, but my first idea sort of fell through. i thought that i could have a big skating rink party, but the hours they offered were really bad...

does anybody have any other suggestions?

*Water gun fight party! everyone wears there swim suits. and have a bunch of water guns around!

*Or a Hollywood party. Play some awesome music! have your band be a bunch of your friend that play Guitar Hero! and play lots of music! and give them fake tattoos that they can put on inside the party! and everyone dresses up as their favorite celeb!

*Roller Rink party! everyone can skate around to random music. and have like a dance/skate contest! it will be like ice skating, but without the ice.

*Movie party! Have your party based on your favorite movie! everyone dresses up as a character from that move! (i suggest Horton Hears A Who. You are never too old for Dr.Suess)

do u mean ice skating or roller skating? cuz whichever one u tried, why dont you do the other?

u can alslo just invite them to ur house and have food na dmusic and stuff if u have room.

Dance party , or club night cause its like all in one you set up some drinks or pop and you put some games like darts, paintball, etc, and a chat room where people or girls alone talk about guys , and a kissing booth, people will seriously come then.

Any parks  in your area?

Fire department social area, VFW, Civic Hall, Rec center, American Legion Building, Church hall, Pavillion?

Park spot. Rent a covered space  with enough tables.  Plan on   sandwiches and various chips, vegs and dip  and cake or cookies/cupcakes/doughnuts and cake. Tea, lemonade, water. Ice, Napkins, table cloths, forks, cups.

Sandwiches can vary: chicken salad, pimento cheese, ham salad, hot dogs and chili.

Could do a "take me out to the ball game theme", Hot dogs, popcorn, cola,  ice cream cone cup cakes.  Try to  pick a shelter close to play ground area  or ball field  and  reserve space.  Board baseball game if you have to do the party inside  or under roof.  

Food listed will  work for circus  or country fair theme and you could add cotton candy or candied apples, or blue ribbon pie/cake. Clown face bean bag toss etc. Rope pull, baton pass relay,  frisby toss, water balloon toss, etc.

why not just get a ton of pizza, and soda, good music, a local band maybe, and have guitar hero, poker tables, and such set up at a house, that is fun.
