I'm a former real estate agent in Michigan, just starting up again after a few years in a new area. I just want to refresh my mind on what is involved in the closing process, financing options, paperwork needed- all the steps for buying and selling. I thought maybe there's a book I could read right away to refresh my mind. All the books I find are solely on selling techniques, marketing, succeeding, etc.

I like the online website of donald trump, where he teaches real estate strategies. I also read kiyosaki's book on real estate , before i come up with my first step in real estate , www.forallhouses.info . I am sure if you search with keyword "real estate forum" . You can come up with pretty good places.

I would go out and purchase Modern Real Estate Practice, 17th Edition

The fundamental goal of Modern Real Estate Practice is to help students understand the dynamics of the real estate industry and to assist students in preparing for the licensing exams.

This text provides the tools necessary to develop a foundation for advanced study in the general practice of real estate or in any one of the real estate specialties. Originally adapted from the classic Modern Real Estate Practice by Galaty, Allaway and Kyle, the 24 chapters in this text cover national real estate topics as well as real estate law and operating procedures that apply to your state.

This would get you back on the right track.

Good Luck and let me know if you need any help in the future.
