Here's a common one that's pretty easy:

-Pour approximately 1 cup of vinegar into the empty 2 liter soda bottle.

-Place approximately 1 tablespoon of baking soda into the balloon (if you have a funnel, use it to help get the baking soda into the balloon).

-Carefully place the balloon around the top of the soda bottle, making sure none of the baking soda falls into the vinegar in the bottle.

-Once the balloon is carefully secured on the bottle, empty the contents of the balloon into the vinegar and observe what happens.

I did this for my nieces recently and they thought it was pretty cool.
