  1. First of all now is a good time to book a December cruise because the earlier you book the better.  Second, there are some cruise that will not be available, like Alaska or New England/Canada.  They run only in warmer months.  You may also want to skip a trans-Atlantic during the winter months as it can be very cold.  So your best options will be The Caribbean, Panama or Hawaii.  Or, South America or Australia.

On your $2000 budget the Caribbean is your best option.  The best way to find the best buy is shop around the web sites.  Do not lock yourself into a particular week of December.  The prices can change for each week by $50 to $100 per person.  Most cruise line web sites have all of their cruises listed for 2007 and 2008.  So you can pick an itinerary and then see what week has it for less.

  2. I'm going on a cruise this december for my honeymoon.  Were going through the Princess cruise line and the ship is Grand Princess.  The destinations are cozumel, grand cayman, and two others I can't recall.  It leaves from Ft. Lauderdale florida on dec. 1 and lasts 7 days total.  The cost for two adults in standard cabins is:  $ 1200

  3. I usually can find a good deal at this site:  iBtraveling.com.

Depending upon how many days you're going, check out how much time you'll be at an island instead of days at sea, becuase you'll get plenty of ship time at night while it sails to its next destination.

  4. Mexico and Hawaii cruises are fun to do in December.

I am a travel consultant and work with a travel company that has really great deals on cruises.

  5. Per person?  Before or after taxes? With or without airfare?  How many people will be traveling?

Call a travel agent who specializes in cruises and let them get the answer to those questions.  With that information they can present you with a few informed recommendations.

Call Cruise Planners at 888-286-9827 www.mycruiseplanner.net, they represent all the major lines, have the same pricing as the big online sites, and they don't charge any fees...

  6. Hi, I have a lot of great prices on Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruises for December.  I would be happy to help you find the perfect cruise for you.  I am not a high pressure sales person.  My company is owned by me.  My philosophy is the best cruise for the longest time for the least money with the best customer service.  I have recently saved a client $100 per person from what they found on the Internet and with the cruise line.  Travel agents receive better pricing than most people think.  Send me an email and I can give you a quote.  Hope that helps.

  7. Check out www.carnival.com .  Decenber is one of the cheapest times of the year to cruise.

  8. Depends on how many people are going and what time in December.

we are going 1 week before Christmas and our 7 day cruise on the Carnival Glory is $499 per person.  The next week that price jumps up to $849 or something crazy.  Go 1or 2 weeks before schools let out and it is much cheaper.

Check out Carnival.com  they will let you search specific dates and find a cruise that is just right for you.

  9. Carnival all the way, have had 3 cruises for 4 people and have not payed that price for any of them and that includes the 7 day on the Carnival Glory
