What's a good gift for a friend leaving to study abroad?

A good friend of mine is leaving NYC to study abroad in Europe; I'd like to get her something, but I don't know what. Any suggestions?

Get you're friend a photo album and fill it with loads of good times so when you cant see each other she can still feel your presence!! its a lovely idea!! if not just get a photo frame and get a picture of u and her!
