I want to get a guitar but I don't know which one. I don't know a thing about guitars. I was also wondering if this is a good guitar.

  1. There are two basic types of acoustic guitars: the Classical and the Dreadnought Steel String. You could use an electric guitar, but I think if you do not own one yet purchasing either a Classical Or Steel String would be a better choice.

What to look for when buying a guitar:

You have to love how it feels and how it plays.

Looks are not that important, but hey if you practice more on it it becomes important.

    Buying online

If you buy online you can save and you can read user reviews. This is a great plus.

That guitar in your link looks good. The reviews on the site are positive and Takamine's are known for their great sound. The price isn't bad either. I definitely approve of the Takamine as a good beginning guitar.

  4. Ibanez
