My hair tends to be frizzy, and I've gotten it thinned before. It is a medium brown with sum natural strong blonde highlights. I've thought about layers but I've heard that makes it thicker and frizzy. I do use hairproducts, garnier fructis hairspray and vo5 gel + curl spritzer. Almost all my hair is the same length so when i straighten it on the occasion it looks very plain which i dont like, i want it to look cute. Does anyone have any idea on a good hairstyle that it will minamize size and friz, but look cute when straightened also? my hair is just past my shoulder and im willing to get it cut up to my chin.

  1. You should totally do layers! It's totally cute! I have layers but I don't have thick hair. But my friend does and it looks TOTALLY cute! You should dye your hair too! Put some highlights in it too! Mix them!

I posted a lot of answer and all of them worked too so yea....

    So try it!

  2. Keep it long. But maybe a short trim. Then get side bangs. I have thick hair too. And I hear layers make it thicker. But it depends on your type of hair. My sister has thick hair as well. But also Layers and it gives a nice look. She also has side bangs! You might want to try that out! Hope this helps!

  3. GET LAYERS!!! i have medium length curly hair and layers are the way to go!

they actually take out the BULK of frizzy hair. they dont make it thicker!

i usde pantene pro v curl defining scrunching mousse and it works really well at making my curls look nice and bouncy (i fruquently have strangers ask me if my hair is naturally curly and then when i tell them yes they say how jealous they are!) this mousse holds my curls shape thru out the whole day and really does a good job of controlling the frizz so my hair actually looks shiny! yay!

but definetly go for layers....they take out the bulkiness that curly hair can acquire and just make it sit nicer!

if you get layers, when you straighten your hair youll actually be able to see the layers which looks cool, ive also had alot of people comment on how noticable the layers are when i straighten my hair because usually i wear it curly and no one can actually see those layers. its definetly looks better straight and layered than straight and boring all one length!!

i swear, if you get your hair cut shorter (i usually get mine cut a centimeter or 2 below my chin, your head will feel soooo much lighter! it feels nice, and if you get layers on top of that well then youll just be on a cloud with how nice and light your hair will feel!!

hoper some of this has helped ya

  4. well for a start i no exactly where your coming from im the same but blonde!

sunsilk cream for curly hair (green bottle) is the best frizz control i have ever seeen and every1 swears by it

secondly layers dont make it too much more poofy when curly and look fab straight 3 near the ends look good . If anything they make your hair thinner just ask your hair dresser! and always if u need 2 make it ess poofytake a few curby grips and pin some bits into place

    hope this helps! x*x
