What's a good hobby?

Question

I'm used to being super busy but now I'm out of school and my boyfriend is moving so I have lots of extra time on my hands. What hobby should I pick up?

you should start collecting somthing i used to collect horses its really fun, but now i collect stuffed animals and my sister collects moose.

i think you should learn how to play an istrument!

i live in a small town and i go up on the sqaure with my guitar and jam with my friends....hey it earns money right?!

how about cross stitching, theres 2 types, theres stamped, where the pattern is on the material, it will wash otu when your done sewing the pattern on it it. Then there is counted cross stitch, where you ahve to count the squares, 1 wrong move though, & the whole pattern is messed up.

Personally, since its summer, you should probably start swimming, in fall you could play a sport like football or basketball, in winter, a different hobby is just to hang out with friends and play games, or play in the snow, in spring you could play a sport like baseball or softball, (boy or girl, lol). But also you could probably come up with a new game hat you would like, so you can be social, and having fun at the same time.

Knitting is very relaxing, and you get a great feeling of accomplishment when you have completed your project, knowing that you have made it yourself, and the compliments will fly when you say you made it!!  It's not a very expensive hobby, and it's completely portable.  I have knitted while waiting for a bus, on the bus, doctor's offices, anywhere.  You can do it while watching t.v., listening to music, or get together with friends and all learn together.  There are thousands of websites where you can download patterns for free.  You could knit something for your boyfriend that he will cherish because you made it with love especially for him with your own two hands. Sewing is also a good hobby if you have a machine at your disposal.  It's quite easy actually, it's just like cutting out a jigsaw puzzle from fabric and putting the pieces back together.
