I just started a new Yahoo! 360 page and I want to do a blog, but I've never done one before so I don't know what to put?

  1. A good blog to me:

    1) Mainly, is one that is authentic. Your thoughts, your creative background, your interests - there's only one "you," so be expressive! I know, that's corny, but it's true.

    2) Keep it updated.

    3) Theme... is your blog a commentary on the latest news? Is it a diatribe about activities in your daily life? Is it only about your pet's quirks? A theme isn't necessary, but a purpose helps. Now, if you just want to write anything that comes to mind, well, try to make it sound like an interesting read.

    4) A sense of fun - humor always helps.

  2. Aloha from Down Unda!

By nature of the medium, blogs are designed to help 'vent', 'rant', 'rave', 'obsess', or merely 'amuse yersef.  Therefore, whenever I need to come up with an idea, usually I jes gripe about wotevaz upsettin me at the moment or, to change the pace, I'll look at the odd news & make comments, add the URL to the 'Blast' & play around with my 'peekturez' on the mspaint.exe or pull pix off Google Images etc...

There are endless, countless things to fuel the fires...I use a 'Question of the Day' feature at another blog site, VOX which comes with an option for weekly updates in the email...

Also, involvement in MSN Groups helps keep things in perspective...

Have fun & check out my ideas...you can use ANY of 'em from any of 'em!

    Best wishes~.
