I'm trying to apply for a credit card! But I dont know what's too much! Is 15.99% good?

    DON'T GET A CREDIT CARD !! .

    far to many people in this country are up too their eyes in debt

    debt is dumb , really really dumb

  2. No that's a really high rate. I wouldn't suggest getting a credit card outside of credit establishment purposes. If you plan on using it for shopping and idle spending don't bother.

    If you a responsible person, apply for a card or a secured card (even better) and be diligent about not maxing out your card (just 25% of limit in usuage) pay on time and pay in full. You'll establish good repayment history and keep your debt to income ratio to a minimum.

  3. You should check out the site below so you can see all the cards and their APRs for yourself. There are also very good student cards you can apply online. Are you planning on keeping a balance on your card? otherwise you shouldnt have to worry about the interest rate. I would suggest not carrying any balance and paying it off every month in full.
