What's a good kind of men's cologne for everyday use?

I wear Old Spice until I get tired of it, then switch to Aqua Velva until I get tired of that as well, then back again.  Aqua Velva isn't really cologne, but it's nice just the same.  One I love is Brut.  My father wore it and now that he's gone I only want to associate it with him, so while I love it, I will never wear it.  No reason for you not to, though.

For special occasions, I wear Caswell-Massey No. 6 - but that's out of the $25 price range.

You will be hard pressed to find a cologne in the 10-25$ range. I was just at Sephora's and there was a nice small bottle of Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue, which smells very clean and garnered some nice compliments by a friend of the opposite gender I was shopping with =).

I don't know what you mean by no spray, real cologne, because most colognes are sprayed? Few are dabbed or rolled on, but you can buy those types of bottles anywhere online.
