I think Cosmo may be a bit too much if you're looking for beauty tips. Marie Claire is great and Glamour is also good,  Self is also o-k. Actually any fashion magazine such as Elle would give you ideas as well.

Allure is really good. It has tons of stuff about makeup and beauty products along with fashion.

In style magazine is great.  Perfect combo of fashion and beauty advice with lots of other interesting articles. Not teen oriented at all. Not only abt s*x like Cosmo (for instance).
