What's a good microphone for a school laptop?

At my new school, we are using laptops. We are allowed to record lectures. I've never used a microphone with a laptop. Do you know any good ones? Thanks!!!

I'd get a digital recorder that allows you to transfer the audio to your PC or iPod.

Id just get a tape recorder, so you don't have to carry a laptop and a microphone everywhere, maybe a digital one so you can transfer the recordings to your computer.
