What's a good mile time for an 8th grade girl?

7 minutes is great, my best time was 6 minutes,

If your talking about the pool I'd say about 9 minuts

I am 12 (almost 13) and I am in 7th grade. My best time is 7:11. If your in shape your mile time should be around 7:30. Girls are always slower than boys, but I am usually the 2nd girl to finish.

I used to have a 5 min mile, but I ran track.  I would say anything between 5 & 6 and nothing more.

I guess like under 20 min.  Check out the time standards and stuff.  If you just started swimmming or just started swimming distance, then you probably have a lot of improving to look forward to

hey im in 7th and 9 mn is good for me. it depends on how old you are. nothing higher than 12 min tho

the avarge mile is about 7 8 mins but mine is in the 6 5 min range but im a running freak. just keep nice pace the whole mile.

when i was in 8th grade, my mile time was like 19-something before they kicked us off the track because we weren't 'taking it seriously'

i'd say like between 8 & 11 mins? idk cuz i've never finished the mile lol

6 or 7 minutes but 8 is pretty rad too! Lol, I get low 7, almost 6 but I'm more of a sprinter when I do track, I'm in 7th btw.

Swimming a mile should take 25 minutes (give or take 5, depending on if you are in great shape or not).
