What's a good mountain bike for jumping?

Question

I'm on a university campus that has a lot of large hills. Because of the hills, many of the university buildings have wonderful ledges to jump. The ledges are generally 5 feet and lower. I want to be able to jump, but I also don't want to struggle with going uphill. My budget is 300$
