What's a good name for a girl?

Question

my auntie is having a daughter in 3 months, and we're trying to decide what to name her. My auntie likes Mikayla and Daphne, and I like Pearl(cuz it's my name lol). Are they good names for a girl? Are there any other good names? thanx!

My son Mykal was going to be Mykalah if he was a girl so I like that and my daughter is Candis Marie (her aunt was Candis Anne) I almost called her Luca though which I still love!

Well, Pearl is pretty, but your parents already took the name.  Most aunts try not to name their child after a niece or nephew.  So, I think your Auntie may think Pearl already taken

Michaela is better and the poor child won't have to spend her life spelling her name out (it is annoying, my Name's Bernice so this I know). Babies we have had recently are:

Maya, Ava, Connie, Mia, Rae-Marie, Alice and Kira.... She may not look like any of the names chosen so it'll be back to the drawing board ;-)
