Writing a fictional fantasy novel and there's a lady who has two adult offspring and the father isn't making it clear if she's still alive or not. I'm not sure what kind of name to give her. I was thinking Tekoria, but any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks!

  1. Saiorse

    [seer-sha]

    it's irish

    Tristessa, which means [sadness]

i like the nickname Sky, though :]

you could spell it Skye, for a difference

  2. I think Tekoria is an excellent name. Its unique, different and It really stuck in my head. Its also easy to read, you don't stumble over the pronunciation in your head. Well done, it really suits the character!

  3. I'd go with Euronymous.

  4. I like Tekoria but why not try:

    Xylia [of secret land]

    Aiwaiwa [mysterious]

    Lisha [full of mystery]

    Gevirah [lady]

    Liadán [grey lady]

    Amba [mother]

I personally like Gevirah, Liadán and Tekoria but its up to you. What is the father's name? You could choose a name that sounds good with his.

    Good luck and happy writing!!

  5. Lytreshka, nicknamed Sky.

  6. Ada or Jane.

  7. I think that's a good name...it sticks in my mind because it's unique, and it sounds sort of "mysterious" at the same time.

    I'd stay with that one.

  8. Xanaia

    (Zah-nay-yah)
