What's a good name for a pet parakeet?

Nothing cheesy, though.

I got this bird TWO YEARS AGO and named it, but now we just call it 'the bird'. I've actually forgotten what I called it. o_o;

It's white with a little bit of sky blue on the belly.

I have no idea if it's a boy or a girl; I don't know how to check. =,=; But alot of people think of it as a girl.

I think you tell if it's a boy or girl by looking at its nose? maybe? i'm not exactly sure.

Crisco!  We had a green-cheeked conure once named Crisco, he was the best!!  Could be a girl bird's name too, not gender-specific...

Choose your favourite character from a movie, tv show, acter/tress, singer etc.. and name it that. :P

I just got 2 Parakeets a week ago and had the same problem as you! Then I looked at a few sites and decided to name one Cheeky and the other, Sika.

I also have some suggestions for names. If you want you can name it Aqua, Cotton, Squat, Twinkle, Snowflake, Snowball, Frosty, Skye or Crystal, they all match with the discription of your Parakeet.

you can tell the gender by its cere( the thing above its beak)

if its pink its a female. Older females can have a brown crusty cere.

if its blue its a male.

you should wait a while and see how it acts.. also name it by the colour.

+Name it an easy name that they can learn to say such as Coco :)
