  1. Connections Academy is a Charter School that is K-8 in some states and K-12 in others.

Most states pay the entire cost and is is like getting private school for free.

their website is http://www.connectionsacademy.com they will send you a free catalog and DVD.  Unfortunately they do not do high school in my state or I would have signed my daughter up for it.

  2. pinnacleeducation.com

they do summer school and everything is free.

  3. To follow up on sandernmb's answer, MN does have a K12 virtual school, MNVA:

I think a virtual public school is your best option since you plan to return to a B&M public school after one year.

We've used the K12 curriculum (same as MNVA) for over five years and LOVE it!

  4. Go to google.com and put in alpha and omega homeschooling. Its alllllll online, and they grade EVERYTHING. I think it is the best. You can also choose not to get the bible class if you dont want to but i recomend it, it changed my life!!!

  5. We use K12 and find it to be a really incredible program.  In some states, you can get it for free, but I don't think Minnesota is one.

    Check it out:

    Good luck!
