What's a good place for lunch in pasadena, ca.?

Question

Somewhere with a lunch menu that I can get in and out of in an hour. Away from old town - too crowded/expensive. Interested in delivery too. Asian, Italian, American.

I had the same issues w/Old Towne, so these were places I went to that were great, and away from the traffic & parking:

(express version of P.F. Chang)

Maria's Italian Kitchen in Hastings Ranch

Marstons on Walnut (Strongly recommend going early to avoid a wait....excellent food)

Pie N Burger on California Ave. off of Lake Ave.

Green Street Cafe (off of Lake & so. of Green St....go early)  

Tops (fast food, great pastrami & zucchini sticks)

The Hat (Pastrami, also fast food, great & fries are super

           great too!)

Roscoes Chicken & Waffles (On Lake, no. of Colorado)

I LOVE Cafe Verde. It's on Green St. near Mentor (away from the chaos of Old Town). They have really delicious food. It's perfect for lunch. Here's the website, you can view their menu online.  The shrimp sandwich is excellent.  Their fruit shakes are amazing (especially the blueberry one).

It's tiny inside, but I've never ever had to wait for a table. They have outdoor seating too.  Green Street Cafe is decent, but it's always jammed and you usually have to wait 20 minutes for a table (and the food is just average in my opinion).

Try Tarantino's. It's a good little Italian place on the corner of Green St and Hudson (1 block west of Lake Ave).
