  1. A vacation spot you once went to, your childhood home, something that was very rememberable down to the tee.

  2. I wrote one last semester about Urban Outfitters. but other good ones are small family owned businesses. like a one of a kind coffee place or cafe

  3. A descriptive essay uses lots of adjectives and adverbs to help the reader "see" your subject.  It could be about your toaster if you wanted it to be.  Tolkien describes the Hobbits in chapter one in great detail.  Essays are most interesting to write and read if the writer is excited about the subject.  Your favorite park, childhood memory, your family's Christmas traditions, or your avitar are all possible topics.  It could be real or imaginary.  Use all of your senses to describe the subject.  Good luck.

  4. It is always easier to write about a real place -- someplace you've been.  Think of your favorite place -- imagine yourself in that place, and then start describing.  Remember to use all of your sensory details -- what does it sound like, smell like, taste like, feel like, etc.  Close your eyes, put yourself in that place, then write, write, write :)
