Our recent productions have been High School Musical, and Annie Jr. We have a small cast (about 10-20 people) with mainly females. We don't really have guys who can sing. Any imput or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

  1. The Sound of Music.

  2. Ur a Good MAn Charlie Brown ,  Peter Pan , Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

  3. My favorite is Macbeth.

  4. "The Boyfriend" would be great. It's set in a private girls' school in the French Riviera, with a bunch of rich English schoolgirls, their vampy headmistress, a cutesy french maid, and a few boys the girls try to smuggle in for a costume ball. The only guy singing parts are duets with girls, and the music is pretty easy anyway. It's very fun and lighthearted, perfect for a high school to do. If you have a girl who can tap dance, she'd really get to show off in this, though the tapping can easily be cut if you don't.

  5. 'Once Upon a Mattress' only needs 3 males.  The King can probably be played by a girl, being an odd, silly, goofy character who only speaks at the end.  Prince Dauntless can probably be a girl as well, as he's supposed to be sort of... erm... not-macho-manly-man.  In fact, he acts practically prepubescent at times. XD

    Hope it's good!

  6. Do "Hello Dolly". There's only about 4 male leads in that one and they are all supposed to sound kind of crappy.

  7. Wizard of Oz.

    Oliver.

&& there are so many more.

  8. You could do a take on a Shakespeare play where instead of the entire cast being men (like in Shakespeare's day) they could all be women.
