What's a good plot for a story? [read inside]?

about a romance when three guys meet a girl

i was thinking she falls in love with one of htem but shes a tomboy so they only ever see her as a friend and it tears her up inside.

any other really simple plots like that i can work off for a romance i have to write for school? thanks.

While I can't really think of any good plot ideas for romance, I can (hopefully) give you some advice. Plan out some characters first. You don't have to use any or all of them in the story. Great stories tend to arise from great characters though, so if you write about some people (their physical descriptions, personalities, histories) you may get some wonderful ideas from them.
