What brand and model is good for it's price?

I found a Hoya for $18 on amazon and there's also a $120 one.....i'm sure the $120 is very good but will the $18 work as well?

  1. You want one that is a circular polarizer. Linear polarizers can mess with your autofocus and metering on DSLR.  After that know that you do get better optics and coatings for the higher price. If you are a recreational photographer the lower to mid priced filters will probably do what you want

  2. I have a Sunpak that works OK.

  3. What size lens?

    I spent about $40 for a 77mm
