What's a good present for some people in a spanish village?

we want to be friendly to the people in the hamlet where we have a house. so we want to buy some small presents. nothing ostentatious. small but nice, but something that the spanish like about england. is it marmalade? is it m&s chocolates? help!

  1. Quality streets,Thorntons chocs,tetley tea bags,marmite,selection of minature marmalades,a tea towel from your part of the country and yes anything with M&S label on eg..bathroom smellies or a  a nice small ornament.

  3. We live in a Spanish village. We made them lemon curd because they had no idea what it was even though lemons are so plentiful here.

    Since then we have been asked for the recipe.

  4. Well, they like furs, get some pelts. You should also get them some choclates. Also get some lemonade. They loved it when I got some Spanish people stuff like that. They treated me normally. (I was treated different)
