What's a good present to get your boyfriend's parents?

What is a good present to get my boyfriend's parents? Anyone have a creative suggestion? They have the means to get whatever they need and want, so I'd like something creative that may not have thought they wanted.

I know this is difficult if you don't know them, but any suggestions?

what's the occasion?  and, how long have you been dating your boyfriend?  I guess you want to do something thoughtful, but again nothing too over the top if you don't really know them that well...

Something home made by you would be better than a store purchased gift.  Even if it is baked goods or something you paint or write for them.  Those are thoughtful gifts.
