What's a good realistic car racing game/simulator?

Is there anything available where you can download more cars and tracks, a bit like fsx but racing?

I have already tried one called racer, please don't recommend it.

Get race driver grid 4 or Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Race driver grid 4 has better damage but gran turismo 5 prologue is more fun and has better graphics.
