What's a good recording device for a cordless phone?

I'm looking for a recording device for a cordless phone in order to record a few upcoming interviews. I'm looking at the GT-TR510SC Cassette Phone Recorder, but I don't know if it would work with a cordless phone. I've also come across Cordless Phone Recorder Adapters. But those seem to work only if you're recording it onto your computer and not into a cassette player. It also seems like it needs software for it to properly work.

I wouldn't mind recording directly onto my computer, but I don't want to spend $300 on software to do it.

Any suggestions?

when you say cordless phone that means you have its receiver also so the speaker output or receiver output will be there for recording if not just take two wires of speakers out and put it to line in of your computer and keep recording through any free software
