What's a good restaurant near Paddington station in London?

You have one chinese restaurant near the paddington station which serves good food. Their house wine is one of my favourites.

The restaurants around there are pretty poor.

I suggest you travel a bit further across the Edgware Rd and try these three:

- Marylebone Kitchen - nice contemporary pub with food, corner of Endford St and York St.

- The Windsor Castle - tiny old pub full of Royalty Memorobilia that serves excellent Thai food, 27-29 Crawford Place

- Garbo's Swedish Restaurant - excellent food in a tucked away little restaurant.  I suggest the pickled herrings! 42 Crawford St.
