  1. On the tour we took, there were several restaurants in the middle of the park in one location -- on the Argentinian side.  We didn't expect much and were going to just get a sandwich, but there was place, a little more upscale, that turned out to be so good we thought we'd died and gone to heaven.  Great selection of wine and beer, a huge buffet of fresh salads and vegetables, and an incredible chilled tongue vinaigrette that was to die for.  They also have exhibition BBQ set up.  Every cut of roast beef, pork, chicken imaginable.  Then you help yourself to what looked like five different versions of chimichurri sauce (garlic, olive oil, parsley, almonds, peppers).

There was even a talented, local band singing and playing acoustic music.

Having this food in downtown Buenos Aires would have been wonderful.  To find it here, in a tropical jungle surrounded by rainbow-studded waterfalls as far as the eye can see -- it was a peak experience.
