What's a good skimboard for me?

I'm a beginner still mastering my balance out on the sand. I live on the west coast and weigh 105 pounds. I want to take this board out on the waves when I get more experienced.

What board do you recommend I buy?

Should I start off with a cheep one then buy a more expensive one? Or go straight to the expensive one?

depends on if your gonna stick with the sport if your sure buy the expensive one but if you get bored of simboarding fast or quit for some other reason its a waste of money
