I'm trying to lose 50+ pounds.

I already know the best eating habit is to eat five to six healthy healthy meals/snacks per day, but I'm having trouble selecting a good, light morning snack prior to a heavy work out that will give me a natural energy boost.

  1. Eggs are good, but avoid having them every day.

The natural protein helps to ward off hunger longer than most breakfast choices, and eggs have been found to stop cravings for refined sugars.

Also try a handful of almonds, or a piece of Rye bread.

  2. Fruit.. I was gonna say pancakes w/ syrup, but you probally want to burn fat not carbs. Banana is a good one.

  3. Apple slices with 2tbsps of all natural or organic peanut butter.
