John Denver has a really nice song, I believe its called "For You",  I know, I know, John Denver???.   If you listen to the words, they are just loving,romantic.... but when he sings it, well it might be better if someone else sang it cause he has a very long pause toward the end of the song.  Give it a chance, listen to it.

Loads of people play Pachelbel's Canon for the bridal march, so if you want to be different maybe go for something else.

Have you thought of having a musician there (rather than a CD) to play at the ceremony?  It really adds to the sense of the occasion, and they can give you their expert advice on what music works well, as well as knowing when and when not to play.
