My son plays pee wee football and got hit in the stomach last night. Is there something I could buy to protect his stomach. It's probably the only part of his body left unprotected.

  1. He's fine you don't need a stomach guard. When I played pee wee football I had the required pads and rib pads just for that little bit of extra protection. Getting hit in the stomach at his age will almost do no damage at all except maybe a bruise but that is it.

  2. Crunches, sit ups, leg lifts, medicine ball, etc.

  3. WB is right. Wear Rib pads. Rib pads usually include back plates. Your son has to stay low. Tell him to do sit ups and crunches just to strengthen his core, so it wont hurt as much. Getting the wind knocked out is very common. It is a part of football
