What's a good store I can go to and test digital cameras?

Question

I went to Best Buy the other day and the camera I wanted to use wouldn't work.

so yea, I'm looking for a store that has cameras on display that you can mess around with and test. Preferably the Canon Powershot A590. Do Target and Wal-Mart have digital cameras you can try out? Or any other stores?

Your best bet is going to an actual camera store and not these electronic stores like Best Buy, Tartget, Walmart because these stores a a very limited selection of cameras and the sales people tend to know very little about cameras. Going to an actual camera stores has much more selection of cameras and the sales people tend to be much more knowledgeable about cameras.
