Question:

What's a good store to "try-out" digital cameras?

I went to Best Buy the other day and the camera I wanted to use wouldn't work.

so yea, I'm looking for a store that has cameras on display that you can mess around with and test. Preferably the Canon Powershot A590. Do Target and Wal-Mart have digital cameras you can try out? Or any other stores?

Thanks!

  1. Target is good, but Best Buy has more. Circuit City also has them all out, but still, in my experience, Best Buy has the most out across the brands. (FWIW, Canon is the best in point-and-shoots. 17 out of the top 24 best selling point and shoots on Amazon are Canon: http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Cameras-Ph... )

Better yet, go to your local camera store (like Ritz or something), since the salespeople will know a lot more about the cameras and will be able to guide you better to the camera that is best for you.
