What's a good tattoo for a mom and daughter to get together?

My motther and I want to get a tattoo together, but I can't think of annnything. She doesn't want it too big, or with skulls or anything, and I dont want it too g*y, liek flowers or anything (not a girly girl u could say). any ideas?!

something that is significant and important to both of you. you shouldnt ask other people, you two should be discussing it.

My mom and I had the same problem. We wanted one done together, but she wanted it to not be to big, and I wanted it not to be flowers and to be unique. We thought long and hard and came up with getting a tattoo drawn up to look like the "heaven's gift" cameo pendant. You can see a picture of it here:

The artist did a great job with it and we are both extremely happy.

ying yang or two haves of a picture on upper arm or hand so that when u stand next to eachother it like you complete eachother

I would say you could both get like a heart with some kind of design in it like stained glass or something. Your mom would probably like the heart because it's girly and a design will make it less "g*y".

Two intertwined roses. One being more feminine and fully bloomed (representing your mom). The other being only a rose bud (representing you). If thats too girly for you, you could add deeper, darker colors or thorns.

Thing  1 and Thing 2 lol...not girly, always together..its cute. or ya know how they  have friendship bracelets  and its half a heart...have 1/2 on each of you...one could say "mom" and  one could say "daughter" its not  too girly. or there is a symbol of a mother holding her child that is in a circle...thats very pretty.

it depends where you want to get it...

i had a friend who got half a butterfly on her wrist and her sister got the other half... it wasnt too big.. but not too small.... it doesnt have color just stencil looking and its not too tacky... very cute!!!
