  1. boil fresh ginger, to taste 1/2 lemon and 1-2 tbs honey in 8 oz water.  just had a sore throat it did wonders!

  2. lipton 100% natural hot tea  i know this is off subject but to really take care of it spicy foods work to, but they have to be hot.

  3. Just plain hot chamomile tea with honey.

A great never failing remedy for sore throats is hot lemonade.  Just squeeze the juice of one lemon and heat in a sauce pan over the stove until steamy hot.  Add sugar to taste (not too much though) and a little water if too strong (it's suppose to be strong though.. so don't add too much water).

    warmest regards..

I hope your sore throat gets better soon..

  4. eucalyptus / mint. i think there is one with this in it by the brand traditional medicinals . its called breathe easy.

  5. Seems like someone asks this question every couple of days. I recommend you GARGLE with sage tea. Either use whole fresh sage (1 Tablespoon) from your garden, or the powdered sage leaf (1/2 Teaspoon) from the pantry. Brew a strong cup of tea, strain and gargle with the warm liquid. Stops the pain instantly.

To drink, boiled Echinacea root produces a soothing, numbing tea that also speeds healing. Or there is a naturally sweet Throat Coat tea made by Traditional Medicinals that also has some healing attributes.

  6. Slippery Elm.  Traditional Medicinals makes a good one called "Throat Coat."  It's very soothing.  Be sure to add lots of honey and lemon.
