You can talk about anything. I would say the most important thing is to first find something that interests you. This is the most important. Either you already know a lot about it or you're interested enough to do some research. Once you have your topic chosen, tell the most interesting things about it.

What would be your main points about caffeine? I would start by googling it, getting some information on it. Be sure to tell your audience things they probably don't know. Yes, they probably know that caffeine will keep you awake. What are some facts that they don't know? How can you make it interesting?

Again, you can inform others about almost anything. Just make sure that you're interested first!
