My husband has a class A license with all his endorsements. Right now he drives for a food distribution service. His job is fine, but he has to drive all through NYC and he unloads the truck by himself w a handcart and a ramp. We're looking for a different driving company with not so much hands on freight. A company that values family and pays fair. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  1. If you are looking for honest answers from real drivers than I suggest you check out this free group. There are over 500 members and all within the trucking industry. The group was made to give new and wanna-be drivers the cold hard facts. Please remember that any questions asked may take a while to get a response as these drivers do not always have access to either a computer or internet. I wish your husband the best of luck in his search.

  2. oooooooooooh ive got the answer your looking for! TDL Group Corp.  its the Tim hortons distribution centre and they're always looking for new drivers.  there is no us runs, all local ( well within most parts of ontaio) they pay awesome, fantastic benefits, and incentives, they do a great family christmas thing, picnics at big places, theres the tim horton camps that you can visit, the fleet is great senior drivers pick their own run package( make their own shcedules)............ you can't have it better if your a driver at that place.  i highly reccommend your husband sends in a resume if your in that area. or call 1-800-tims-hwy. good luck
