What's a good vacuum cleaner?

I'm going to buy a new one and know nothing about the brands or the latest techologies. I'm willing to spend up to 125 dollars, so no Dyson for me. I'd appreciate any guidance or your opinion on your current vacuum cleaner!

Mine is for a small room really with carpet, not much else.

Dysons are the best so spend the money.......It works better and last a whole long time.......make it an investment!

The Dysons are really good! The best vaccum i have had! Trust me if you buy one you wont regret it! i have one and it works great
