What's a good way to help you keep motivated..... ?

For trying to be anorexic? I don't want to be anorexic. But I want to eat less, way less. I eat too much.

I started this process today, and it's difficult, because all I think about is food.Though, there is nothing here to eat that I like, so that's good.

I probably only had about 200 calories today. It's 2:05pm.

What are some ways to keep me motivated to eat less?

I want to eat less, I just have a hard time.

  1. You really shouldn't be doing that. It will have far more repercussions than benefits. Your body will start eating your fat, then progress to muscles. I am not just talking about leg muscles etc but it will eat holes in vital organs. eg heart.

    Do not do this. Find out what your resting metabolism is and then it leas then that. If your resting metabolis is 1,700 then eat 1,200 a day. That means throughout the day by doing nothing you will burn 500 calories but still be eating a healthy amount.


  2. YOU BETTER START EATING MORE..YOUR BODY NEEDS 1200 CALORIES A DAY TO FUNCTION PROPERLY!!!...YOU NEED TO EAT MORE, OR YOUR GOINT TO GET SICK..

  3. your a girl yeah? well you should be eating around 2000 calories a day not 200. its imposible to live off anthing less then about 1600 calories a day. otherwise the body goes into starvation mode and you begin to store (yes store) fat, and when you binge (which you will) your body will put on even more weight then usual because you are starving yourself.  

    make things easier on yourself. eat 4-6 small healthy meals a day (every 3-4 hours). drink plenty of water and go for a run or a walk.  

  4. Being anorexic is more about compulsion than about a desire to be skinny.

    The reason you can't stop thinking about food is that you've only eat 200 calories when you should have probably already consumed over 1000. So, if you want to stop thinking about food, you need to eat. You'll end up eating less in the long run if you just eat when you're hungry. If you wait and starve yourself, you'll eventually break down and binge.


  5. Look at pictures of the type of body you want.

    And why did you ask for pictures that motivate someone to be anorexic if that's not what you're going for? Don't you want pictures to motivate you for what you're going for? The anorexic thing was so off topic...

    EDIT I meant to say why did you ask for something to motivate someone to be anorexic.

  6. Some good ways are to tape pics of some people that you want to look like on your fridge and microwave. Everytime you make a move for a snack, you are reminded.

    Put waterbottles and veggies in the front of your fridge for easy access and so you see them often.

    Make a I-Want-To list and post it somewhere in your bedroom or on your bathroom mirror so you always see it and are reminded of your goals!
