What's a good way to keep my shoes white/clean them?

Whats a good way to keep my shoes white looking like new? I always clean them of course but the nylon string or w.e it is the thing that holds the shoe together, doesn't whiten, and if i wash ti too often(with soap and water) the color starts wearing away. What's a good way to keep my shoes looking like new? I heard rubbing alcohol does the job?

well dont walk in the dirt or mud.....watch where you walk...watch where other people walk cuz they will step on your shoes.....aummmzs'............and alcohol dont work, it messed up my all whites one time(my daddy was mad) lolx. But anyways.....aumms i think thats all..or you could just keep buyin new all whites, thats what I do.

Foaming bathtub cleaner...seriously.  I know it sounds strange but it works better on white leather (and synthetic material) than anything I've ever tried.

Buy a bottle of white shoe polish. They will always look new. Buy one with a sponge applicator
