    or if you have a family member working for the airlines, you can request the id-90. That's the cheapest, it's free.

  11. All of the main ticket places are about the same. It is about the same too even if you go directly to the airlines.

    The cheapest way honestly is by priceline or Hotwire, the types where you put in a bid on a ticket and take what you can get unless you get lucky. Sometimes you may get a deal from an airline directly.

    It also depends on where and when you want to fly.

    Try to be at least 7 days in advance and try to fly on mondays and thursdays. Fly at off peak days. Also staying over a Saturday can really help reduce the cost.

    I used to fly 2 times a week for about 5 years. I flew out on mondays and flew home on Fridays. Monday till friday is about the most expensive.  

    I can tell you that travelocity, expedia and so on are all the same save for a buck or 2.
