  1. www.cheapplacestostay.com (doh)

  2. http://www.place2stay.net/ it is a site where you can get free accomodation for a couple of nights. Free to register as well

  3. Nothing is cheap for Americans these days....dollar is so weak.  That place2stay one looks like couch surfing, so, if you're into that...the Formule1 might be your best bet.  Sounds less expensive than a Youth Hostel if you aren't alone!  Even if you are.

I just checked it out, and the Formule 1 hotels are pretty far from the Centre.  If you don't care about location....

  4. HostelWorld.com, From 3 eu per night

  5. couchsurfing.com

  6. I would tell you to try :

    http://www.hostels.com

    http://www.hostelworld.com

The 2 bigest websites for finding a hostels, safe and cheep with a lot of details and comentary.

Enjoy your stay in my country

  7. I like using TripAdvisor - allows you to search for availability at the same time and shows average price

    www.tripadvisor.com

However, if you're looking for the real budget market and hostelling suggest you could do worse than HI Hostels:

    http://www.hihostels.com/

  8. The Hotel Formule 1, is a cheap chain throughout France (also found throughout other countries) Very basic and not en-suite, but a room sleeps up to 3 people and from 20 euros upwards for a room.

    Have a look at  www.hotelformule1.com
