Okay so I've been stupid low carb diets which made me lose heaps of weight like 10g in one month but I felt sick and felt like fainting all the time and put it back all on.....so I just want to know what is the healthiest amount of weight to lose per month for a 21 year old female, doing 1 hour of jogging/walking on the treadmill about 5-6 days a week without feeling hungry all the time.

  1. I'd say like 15-20 lbs.

  2. I am glad you added all the details.

    1. At your weight, you will burn 100 calories per mile by running.

    2. You should run in the morning on empty stomach. When you run, it will try to find carbohydrates in your stomach first, when your body find no carbohydrates, it will go to stored fats and start burning fat.

Make sure you don't eat anything before run. After run, wait 45 minutes before eating breakfast

    3. Normally you should reduce your daily calorie intake by 500 calories. In one week, it will amount to 3,500 calories and losing one pound of weight. This should be your goal, to lose 5 pounds per month. 4 pounds by reducing caloric intake, and 1 pound by jogging.

    4. You are a smart young woman. Don't go for quick weight loss programs. Always eat a balanced diet.

    USDA has a website http://www.mypyramid.gov

Go to this web-site run by US government.. Find out what is a healthy balanced diet for you. It is a free website.
