  1. I usually pack some carrots, some string cheese, and some whole wheat pita bread, and a can of salmon or tuna.

Really healthy, low fat, quick, and tastes good!

  2. That seems healthy enough to me. Fruit and vegetables are good too. Salads and some fruit is pretty healthy.

Make the bread whole wheat too, and drink water/milk/orange juice/something like those.

  3. have a ham sanwhich:

    - with whole wheat bread

    - some leaves in between

    - and some cheese

then eat a fruit (not grapes, they have alot of sugar in them)

    and drink water

  4. chicken salad with new potatoes (no dressing or butter)

    or

jacket potatoe and beans( no butter)

    or

chicken salad sandwich on brown bread(no butter or dressing)

with mineral water and either a banana/pear/orange/apple

  5. McDonalds.

  6. healthy food.... pasta and fruit some healthy choice dinners yea

  7. If you're not much of a cook, you could try buying Lean Cuisines or pre-made salads from a grocery store. That isn't really filling, so you can always add some fruit on the side.

Another option is to make yourself a healthy sandwich. Start out with whole wheat bread, some low-fat turkey and you can always add some lettuce, avocado, cucumber, onions, etc. But when making sandwiches be careful not to add things like cheese and mayonnaise because calories in those items add up fast. With the sandwich you can have some vegetables or fruit on the side also.

  8. An apple, a tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread, water, and mini carrots.

  9. A whole chicken with mashed potatoes with a side of pork chops.

  10. try wheat bread

  11. whole wheat bread, not white.

    Try:

a fruit (apple, orange, pear, banana, grapefruit etc...)

a sandwich (whole wheat bread, and your choice of meat with lettuce and tomatoes or something)

a veggie (broccoli, spinach, celery, carrots etc...)

some milk or water to drink

it is quite filling! try to eat things with a lot of nutrients. Banana's are very good for you along with greens such as lettuce and broccoli. Beans, meat or tofu are substitutes for the sandwich, just because you can't eat a sandwich EVERY SINGLE DAY now can you? Also try to avoid the following all meals:

red dye (like red 40 or anything other red ##. commonly found in candies)

    white bread

    high fructose corn syrup

    crackers

    msg

home-cooked meals are the best and healthiest!!

  12. Main:

    - Natural peanut butter with natural jelly on whole grain bread

    - Natural peanut butter with honey(opt.) and banana on whole grain bread

    - Whole grain bread, pita, or whole grain tortilla with turkey, chicken, or ham, lettuce (not iceberg, try romaine, spinach, etc.), other veggies such as onion, tomato, avocado, etc., and if you need a sauce try mustard, honey mustard, hummus, lowfat mayo, or lowfat salad dressing.

    - whole grain tortilla with fatfree refried beans or black beans, lettuce, onion, tomato, and salsa

    - whole grain tortilla with chicken, lettuce, pesto, onion, and either sundried tomatoes or roasted red pepper

    - whole wheat pita with tuna(or other fish), lettuce, onion, and olive oil or lowfat mayo

    - homemade or canned low sodium soup in a thermos

    - salad with dark greens, veggies, protein source(beans, meat, nuts, etc.), and lowfat salad dressing or olive oil and vinegar

    - frozen meal like lean cuisine or healthy choice

switch up breads to have a change sometimes, try 100% whole grain bread, bagels, english muffins, tortillas, and pitas.

    Sides:

    - fruit (any kind, some easy lunch fruit are apples, bananas, pears, berries, grapes, and melon)

    - veggies like peppers, carrots, and cucumbers

    - string cheese

    - yogurt

    - granola bars

    - pretzels

    - whole wheat crackers

    - side salad

    Drinks:

    - water

    - tea

    - skim or lowfat milk

    - 100% juice

    :)

  13. home made soup, you can use any veg you have in your cupboards as long as you have some nice stock, if not you can use cubes or boulion.  I make a large pot which lasts me three days, full of veg which means loads of vits and iron and part of your five a day. At night throw all veg in pot with stock and water (or tomato juice if you prefer) add as many herbs and spices as you like, leave for an hour or so,  next day its ready to eat.

  14. Oh! I usually have a lunch of pickled onions and cheese, washed down by three or four pints of beer! I'm told this is very healthy.

  15. first of all white bread is the most unhealy sandwitch bread...pack a c**p load of heal bars...not thewhole meal ones

  16. Handful of nuts

    Banana

    Protein bar

Juice box or bottle of water

  17. A healthy lunch is something that is not made of sugars, salts and anything with grease meaning don't eat white bread, processed meats, or anything filled with sugar or calories!

If you want a ham sandwich try eating it on wholemeal wheat bread, get really good ham that is not processed.

You can eat carrot sticks instead of chips (crisps for the UK) and have juice, tea (with skim milk no sugar) coffee, milk or a health alternative like water.

Try to eat things that will keep you from snacking during the rest of the day. I find that salads with ham and cheese on the side with a bit of olive oil and vinegar dressing are really nice and they fill me up!

  18. I had an apple turnover for lunch today from the spar. it was gorgeous.

  19. Wholemeal bread with salad and hommous some grated carrots and ryvitas

  20. My lunch usually consist of:

Whole wheat tortilla wrap with (ready-to-eat) chicken strips, cucumber, tomatoes, mushrooms, green pepper, honey mustard. Serving of baby carrots. Yogurt. Green Tea.

I usually measure out my portions so I know how many calories I'm taking in.
