  1. TRY a dry curry (not a korma) type one and have boiled rice and a chapati instead of a naan

  2. Vegetable Biriani for me

  3. The healthiest option would be to have Tandori chicken and plain naam with boiled rice as they are cooked without fat, the bread and meat are cooked in a tandor a clay oven...

  4. omg

    i luv indian

    i love chicken tika masala

  5. the healthy option would be any dish cooked in the tandoori oven as no fat is used ad what ever natural fats  in the cut of meat drips of it in the tandoor,, bali dishes are very oily as the onions ,meats etc are shallow fried in a pan,,when ordering rice stick 2 boil rice and for breads chappatis are more healthy than nan or paratha

  6. probably best go for the water

  7. vegetarian samosa's are great with a nice spicy sauce . You could see if your local indian does salads for appetisers as well. then you could maybe skip dessert or treat yourself a little bit.

  8. Well... when in doubt, order vegetables. Those are healthy to eat

  9. Tandoori chicken, its very tasty and does not have a sauce.

  10. Biriyani dishes...

  11. Hi there,

living in Leicester and being friends with many asians, i consider myslef a little bit of an expert!!

go for something dry like Jeera chicken off the bone, Tandoori chicken, some kind of sizzling dish either fish or chicken go for plain rice and chappattis not buttered make sure you emphasise the no butter thing ...

Dont go for curry or biriyani as they are full of Ghee (oil) it tastes really nice but so unhealthy its a joke.. also nan bread is full of fat it clogs up your insides something chronic

Ask the waiter what the dry dishes are ... MMMmmm Jeera chicken is really nice ...

  12. pao bhaji

  13. probably chicken tikka shaslic which comes with a side salad, keep away from the naan bread as it is full of oil though

  14. Most things vegetarian are very good; after all India has more vegetarians than anywhere else on Earth.

  15. I disagree with biryani being a healthy option- cooked in a ton of ghee (butter based)...

Perhaps a tandoori chicken or dhal (spicy lentil dish)....

Best to make your own indian food at home using olive oil, which is much healthier.

  16. Any curry, because the next day you get a free colon clear-out.
