What's a mutt??.what's the difference between a mutt & another dog??

i hear a lot of people call their puppy "mutts".why?? & what is that???is that like a breed??

  1. a mutt is 2 breed that Had babies their designer mutts to like a Yorkie poor nomel mutts don't mutts dont have names just mutt like retrieverriever and beagle or Jack rustlek rusleto be a mutt u must have 2 or more bead in it!

  4. A mutt (mix,mongrel,etc..) is a dog with two or more breeds in its bloodline. A purebred dog is a dog with one breed in it's bloodline.

    Examples:

    Beagle bred with a Jack Russell Terrier = mutt

    Beagle bred with a Beagle = Purebred

    Rottweiler bred with a Golden Retriever = mutt

    Siberian Husky bred with a Siberian Husky = purebred

  5. "Mutt" is just a term for a dog that has several different breeds in it's lineage but the breeds are either too many to list or are unknown.

    A purebred is a dog that is one breed and one breed only. They are usually recognized by reputable kennel clubs, such as AKC, UKC, Canadian KC, etc. If they are not, chances are they are recognized by a rare breed club.

    I have: a fox terrierXcorgi, Border CollieXLab and a Border Collie, Newfie,Lab.

    They're all mutts. I personally don't like purebreds because they're dumber, and have more problems than Mutts. xD

  11. its a mixed breed there has to be at least 2 differant dog mixed with it for it to be considered a mutt i have 2 mutts TeddyBear & Bear Bear he has husky and collie and sum terrior in him, as for TeddyBear im not sure what hes mixed with both of his parents were mixed breeds.. but im not sure if a Mutt is considered to be its own breed or not i would think so but im not sure:)))) I hope i helped...:))

  12. A mutt is a mix dog and is not purebred. It could be anything. Shepard+ pug+collie= mutt.

    yorkie+maltese= mutt

    beagle+ pug+ mutt
