  1. A demo car refers to a demonstrator car. Usually used for test drives and sales staff. I know from my wife who works in the car buisn. that demos usually get grounded after 8000km or approx 5000miles. (Grounded means no sales staff can drive it, only customers wanting to buy it.) Its smart to buy a demo, I have one, you get a new car, but not the new car price tag...and you can usually ask for your warranty to be extended at no charge or get them to throw in undercoating, or some assessors in lieu of the extended warranty.

  2. It's a car that has never been registered, so technically at least it's still a new car.  But it can be high miles.  It could have been a salesman car, with a dealer plate.  It could have been a customer loaner car that they allowed customers to drive while theirs was being fixed.

It will be sold at a discount because of the mileage.

  3. these demo cars are used to showw people what they are like  in the show rooms (also they can be used for test drives )
